People Knowledge Results

Sound familiar?

Your books exist.
That's not the same as ready.

Most people don't avoid their books because they're careless. They avoid them because they're busy running the thing that makes the money.

No lecture. No side-eye.

And definitely no "you should've called me sooner." Just a clear, professional answer to one question: where do you actually stand?

  • Money came in — from clients, platforms, apps, cash, 1099s.
  • Expenses went out — some tracked, some… not.
  • Receipts and documents are somewhere. Probably three somewheres.
  • The bank feed hasn't been looked at in a while.
  • Business and personal spending have been mingling.
  • Tax season is coming either way.

Your assessment includes

What PK actually reviews

More than a free consultation. Less than a cleanup engagement. This is a real professional assessment of where your business stands right now.

  • Bookkeeping readiness review

Are your books current, usable, and actually telling the truth about your business?

  • Reconciliation / status review

Where your accounts stand, and what hasn't been matched up yet.

  • Income & expense organization

How your business income and expenses are organized — and where things get lost.

  • Recordkeeping & document readiness

Whether your records and documentation are organized enough for the season ahead.

  • Tax-season readiness review

How prepared your business information is for tax season — before it arrives.

  • Missing info & priority items

What's missing, what matters most, and what deserves your attention first.

And you keep the paperwork:

Written PK Readiness ReportYour findings, in writing — not a verbal "you're probably fine."
Recommended next stepsWhat to do first, what can wait, and what to stop worrying about.

Needs Attention

What PK found
Your books are set up and mostly current, but several months of transactions are sitting uncategorized and two accounts aren't matching your statements.
Why it matters
Uncategorized activity makes your numbers look worse — or better — than they really are, and anything built on top of those numbers inherits the error.
What to do next
Categorize the flagged months and reconcile the two accounts before anything is filed. Priority items are listed in order in your report.
Know where you stand. Take the right next steps.

Sample wording shown for illustration. Your report reflects your actual business — including the areas that are already in good shape.

Who this is for

If you earn business or self-employment income outside a W-2, this is for you

  • Freelancers
  • Gig workers
  • Independent contractors
  • Self-employed people
  • Small-business owners
  • Online sellers
  • Content creators
  • Influencers
  • Adult-industry professionals
  • 1099 & self-employed business earners
  • Anyone whose books got disorganized
  • Anyone who simply doesn't know

“I have no idea what I'm doing with my books.”

If that sentence just described you, you're in exactly the right place. PK is explicitly nonjudgmental — you will not be made to feel behind, embarrassed, or lectured. You'll be told where you stand and what to do about it.

Straight talk

Exactly what $99 buys — and what it doesn't

An honest scope is part of the service. Here's the line, clearly drawn.

What this is

  • A professional assessment of where you stand today
  • A review of your books, records and tax-season readiness
  • Identification of missing information and priority items
  • A written PK Readiness Report
  • Recommended next steps you can act on
  • More than a free consultation

What this is not

  • Bookkeeping cleanup
  • Correcting transactions
  • Completing reconciliations
  • Tax-return preparation
  • Forensic accounting
  • Unlimited consulting or follow-up
  • Guaranteed tax outcomes or refunds

The assessment identifies where you currently stand. If work is needed, PK will tell you what it is — and you decide what happens next.

What happens next

Sometimes the next step is PK.
Sometimes it isn't.

This assessment is about figuring out what your business actually needs — not finding something else to sell you. Your Readiness Report may recommend work PK can handle, something you can take care of yourself, or help outside PK Business Services. And if you're already in good shape? We'll tell you that too.

  • No action needed

You're good here. That's a real result, and you get it in writing.

  • You can handle this

The report explains what needs doing and the right next step, so you can take care of it yourself.

  • PK can help

The report names the PK service that fits — and whether your $99 credit applies to it.

  • Outside help recommended

If what you need sits outside PK's scope, the report names the type of professional to look for, and why.

The $99 credit

If PK is your next step, your $99 goes with you.

Need PK to handle something we found? Your full $99 may be applied toward one qualifying PK service related to a need in your Readiness Report. Express interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery to claim it. Once timely claimed and PK-approved, redeem it against a valid qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery.

Depending on what your report actually finds, a qualifying service could be something like:

  • QuickBooks Cleanup
  • Reconciliation work
  • Bookkeeping services
  • Record & document organization
  • Tax preparation
  • Tax-related services
  • Other PK work your report specifically recommends

Not every report recommends PK work — and that's the point. The assessment is a complete service on its own, whether you ever buy anything else or not.

How it works

Five steps. No mystery.

  1. Purchase your assessment

One $99 payment for the PK Books, Business & Tax Season Readiness Assessment.

  2. Complete your intake

A short, structured intake so PK knows your business, your income types and your setup.

  3. Share the requested information

You provide what PK asks for through the secure PK process — never through this page.

  4. PK performs the assessment

A real professional review of your books, records and tax-season readiness.

  5. Receive your report

Your written PK Readiness Report with findings, priorities and recommended next steps.

You will never be asked for sensitive taxpayer information on this page. No Social Security numbers, no ITINs, no bank logins, no tax returns or tax forms. Anything sensitive is handled through PK's secure process — not a web form.

Questions, answered

Before you buy

Is this tax preparation?

No. This is a readiness assessment. It reviews where your books, records and business information stand going into tax season. It is not tax-return preparation or filing.

Will you fix my books during the assessment?

No. The assessment identifies where you currently stand. It does not include bookkeeping cleanup, correcting transactions, or completing reconciliations. If that work is needed, PK will tell you — clearly — and you choose what happens next.

What happens if my report says I need more work done?

Your report explains what's needed and why. If the recommended work is a service PK Business Services offers, you may claim the full $99 credit by expressing interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery. After PK approval, redeem it against one qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery. If it's something you can handle yourself, the report tells you how to approach it. And if the right help sits outside PK, your report names the type of professional to look for. Either way, the decision is yours.

What if my books are actually fine?

Then you'll have that in writing — which is worth knowing. "No action needed" is a legitimate result, and you still receive your written report and recommended next steps. PK will not invent work to sell you.

What information will PK need?

After purchase you'll complete an intake, then provide the business information PK requests through the secure PK process. You will never be asked to send Social Security numbers, ITINs, bank logins, tax returns or other sensitive taxpayer documents through this page.

What exactly does the $99 include?

A bookkeeping readiness review, reconciliation/status review, business income and expense organization review, recordkeeping/document readiness review, tax-season readiness review, missing-information and priority-item identification, your written PK Readiness Report, and recommended next steps.

Does the $99 apply toward other PK services?

Yes — toward one qualifying service that your own Readiness Report recommends, when you express interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery and PK approves the claim. The approved credit must be redeemed against a valid qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery. It cannot be divided or exceed the invoice amount. It isn't a universal credit: it can't be applied to an unrelated PK service, it isn't cash, it isn't separately refundable or transferable, and it can't be used with an outside provider.

What if the report says I should go somewhere else?

Then that's what it will say. If something falls outside what PK Business Services does, your report identifies the type of professional or service to consider and explains why — so you know what kind of help to look for. The $99 credit only applies to PK services, so it wouldn't carry over to an outside provider, but the recommendation is yours to keep and act on.

What happens after I purchase?

You complete your assessment intake, provide the requested information through the secure PK process, PK performs the assessment, and you receive your written PK Readiness Report with recommended next steps. Turnaround times are not published on this page — your report is delivered once PK completes the review of the information you provide.

My books are a mess. Is that going to be awkward?

No. PK is explicitly nonjudgmental. Disorganized books are one of the most normal things in small business, and "I don't know what I'm doing" is a completely acceptable starting point. The purpose of this assessment is clarity, not shame.
